After Andy and I were married there was a flood in the kitchen, Andy said he had planned to remodel and this would be a good time to start. So it began, we packed up everything (I mean EVERYTHING from the upstairs). The kitchen, two bathrooms, master bedroom and laundry room all went into boxes and down to the garage or out into the dump trailer. It took a few months between work, kids and life but it finally was done. We had the sub-floor removed and replace, sheet rock on all the walls and ceiling, cabinets out and replaced. New wood floor, doors and tile in the bathrooms. IT was a huge project! This last few months we have been putting things back together, the cabinets are in, the toilets back in place (with a few days of having to pump the tank and repair the junction box, at least it wasn't the drain field!), showers and in. Last week Andy finished the sinks in the master bath and now just the new tub is waiting for a drain. Needless to say the project was expensive!!! Andy is a very patient man, and he would say, "it's okay, we will get it done, even if its a little at a time". Anyone that knows me knows.... being patient isn't one of my strong points. I'm okay to not have things just right.. but if I know where it's going...lets just get there! This has been fun to see the changes happen, and to watch Andy and his MANY skills. We would be driving in the car and it would be quiet, I'd just sit and watch him, I could tell he was working something out, and then he would say, "I've got it figured out!" He now knew how to make something work, or fit .... He amazes me!
